Santa Barbara Sky FC

We anticipate kicking off in March 2027.

SKY FC will play in the USL Championship, which is the highest level of men’s professional soccer in the USL.

Our home stadium will be at UCSB’s Harder stadium, a world-class 17,000-seat soccer specific stadium with natural grass, close to pitch seating, and a wide range of other soccer-specific amenities. Our soccer community recognizes the impact that our soccer-only venue creates for our players, fans, and the community at large. SKY FC will be contributing a significant capital investment to Harder stadium to further enhance the professional soccer experience. In round #1 of our capital campaign, in July 2024, SKY FC funded the new natural grass playing surface at Harder Stadium used for Bournemouth vs. Wrexham game. 

We have a multi-year agreement and partnership with UCSB regents to play at Harder Stadium. Leading up to March 2027, SKY FC will provide a significant capital contribution that will concentrate on critical infrastructure improvements. This investment will not only enhance the stadium’s capabilities, but will further align with SKY FC’s long-term vision for the inaugural season. This collaboration positions the club as a pillar of community engagement and ensures an unmatched professional soccer entertainment experience for both residents and visitors alike.

We are currently accepting season ticket deposits for the 2027 season. By placing a season ticket deposit you will secure your ‘virtual place in line’ so that once season tickets become available, you will have first choice at seat selection. We will have a variety of ticket options available that ensure the matches are affordable and attainable for everyone, including sections specific for supporters, youth soccer teams, and students. Prices for all season tickets will be announced soon.  We are working hard to develop a pricing structure that will make experiencing Sky soccer a possibility for everyone in the 805.

Our home stadium will have tiered seating levels with options including, but not limited to: general admission, premium seats, supporters section, family section, behind the goal fan zone, corporate, birthday, and VIP. 

If you would like to add seats to your reservation, please email tickets@santabarbaraskyfc.com with your request to add seats, and a member of the Sky FC ticket sales team will reach out to you.  Adding seats does not change your place in the deposit holder line.

With our multi-year partnership at UCSB’s Harder stadium, we are not currently pursuing a club-owned stadium. As we commence play in March 2027, our capital improvements will be completed, providing Harder everything it needs to deliver a world-class professional soccer experience.
